Description

This illustration depicts the following scene from Primal Instincts:

“You think you’ve seen how violent a Turian can be?” he growled, changing tactics and advancing on her, hoping to intimidate her into backing off this dangerous path. “The night I marked you was child’s play compared to this. Trust me, Shepard, you’ve barely scratched the surface.”

“So, in other words, you’re not man enough to step up to the plate? Pity,” she turned away from him. “Maybe I should go and take Wrex up on his offe-”

Garrus’ furious roar drowned out the rest of her sentence and suddenly she found herself violently pinned against the Kodiak’s slick metal wall, his harsh breaths hot against her skin. “Just remember; you asked for this,” he growled into her ear...

Nice drawing, but if there's one thing I truly loathe about most Shakarian stories, it's the whole bestial thingy, Garrus being possessive, aggressive, jealous, over-protective (he is protective, but to a degree), while outright refusing to go rough on Shepard, even though it's bloody Shepard and is supposed to respect her and her choices.

He gives her so many chances to break it off in the games (and he doesn't beg Shepard to go back to him in ME3, if anything, he is so nervous in ME2 that he is almost trying to push her away from him during the first romance conversations) that it just doesn't make sense to me, when he says "You're mine" or treats Shepard like a trophy, like in a lot of fics, it just feels deeply wrong.

Garrus is way too reasonable in the game to be this guy (like Kaidan, he is supposed to be the logical type, so I don't really understand how he can get uber-mad at Garrus in fics), if anything he would have gone rough with Shepard from the moment she asked him to, while maybe stating a worried "Are you sure ?", but not refusing, at least not for the reasons stated in the fic.

This comment shouldn't be a decisive factor, but I really hope your comic won't go in this direction.
