I'm a wanna-be artist with a degree in English and a job that I don't truly enjoy, but allows me to attend at Art Classes. I'm fond of sci-fi and fantasy in all their forms, but I can't claim to be an expert in any of those fields.

Currently, Bioware owns my soul, so my artistic attemps are closely related to their games :)

Current Residence: Barcelona
Favourite genre of music: Metal, OS
Operating System: Windows 7
MP3 player of choice: I-touch

Hi everyone!

I have the feeling that every time I start a Journal is to say that I'm still alive and breathing... so why not keep following the tradition? I'm alive! And breathing! Though this past weeks have been kind of hellish at work...

So, back to the title... I've finally given in and I've created a FB account to post art. Does this mean that I'm closing my current FB page? Nope (yes, I have one, not with my real name, what a surprise!!) Does this mean I'm leaving DA? Nope. Probably it's not a good idea, but I've seen people here at DA who also have an FB account or people who just have a DA account... Is this a way of reaching more people? Probably. Or maybe it's just that (wannabe) artists like to show off ;P

If my usual problems with tech have not interfered with my doings at FB, that page should be public... Unlike my personal page! Which I hope is still only visible to friends... So, if you want and feel like, you can go there and take a look: right now you'll find a teaser panel for the next page and two pics I haven't posted here--- yet ;)…

Take care and enjoy your weekend!!

PS. Just in case: I won't be posting there any page of TSaA nor any request/commission, unless the commissioner allows it :)
PS2. If by any reason someone wants to send a Friend Request to my Personal Page, just tell me who you are in a message. I haven't posted it anywhere in this profile because many posts there are in Spanish or Catalan, though I do have people from abroad (and from DA) there :)

I've been checking a future chapter of TSaA with a female turian in it... And after Nyreen appearance in Omega, I'm not 100% sure what to do with this OC of mine. So, what do you think?

298 deviants said I'd love whatever you do...
149 deviants said You already draw a female turian in Turian Kiss... keep your concept!
99 deviants said Stick to the canon: Nyreen's concept FTW!
72 deviants said Where's the next page of TSaA?

Bioware, bow down to the talent and storytelling genius of Ersbeth. Amazing. You seemlessly integrate new elements with ME2 that flow beautifully and give a dimension that's missing and much needed. The rumors about them being together in ME1, Shepard's lament about being less than human with Cerberus' changes, the cruelty of the Alchera mission, Garrus' shyly contained crush, Shepard's slow realization of who she really loves, the crews negative reaction to them, even the downtime with tedious scanning of planets and planning out the dossiers and who to help next. Nothing is forced, and your changes are subtle and are improvements. If Bioware hasn't offered you a job yet, they're fools.

Thanks a lot for such a comment!! I'm honored that you think so high of my work :thanks:
I spent quite a long time reading fanfiction before I decided to start something of my own and I'd rather cover parts of the game that were "left" from the storyline than focus on fights and battles (unless those are relevant to the story!)
I know people who start rumors from thin air and I though that a close friendship between Shepard and Garrus while chasing Saren could be food for gossips... And you know how those things go: they start like "I think I saw" and end up in "I clearly saw". And they spread like the flu!
I truly found disturbing that Shepard did not react at all to her "resurrection". I think I would be bothered and so I passed that feeling to her. I really think that was a part not really explored (and exploted) in the game. Alchera could have been a good place to exploit that part, but there's only a couple of memories and no visible consequence on Shepard. I mean, her body was there. That's her tomb. I little bit of something, please?
Garrus crush was... cheating on my part, I know. I only went for that route to make the story easier for me to do. I guess it could have worked if I had chosen another path, but... seeing that he went to Omega to fight the crime as a reaction of Shepard's death, I though it could not be that far fetched that he developed stronger feelings for her there. I have to say that if Kaidan hadn't rejected Shepard at Horizon, she would have stayed loyal to him but... "loved" is past tense, it's something that happened two years back. Why love someone who doesn't love you back? And Garrus was there... supporting her... Of course, a Cerberus crew is more inclined to have a negative reaction... and those scanns...
Well, no, they haven't, but I'll let you know if they ever do ;P

Agree with your reply. I always felt that when Garrus almost died in front of her, Shepard realized how much he meant to her and that's when seeing him as more than a friend began, even if she didn't acknowledge it at first. And thanks for the explaination of the "head butt" - it's a much nicer event now.

You may be very right there: no matter who Shepard romanced in the first game, while Jacob talks with him/her, Shepard is visibly affected by Garrus state after this recruitment mission.
No problem! I like that you like my take on the head butt!
